Cameron and her brother Jaimie don't really talk. They exchange notes, letters, emails and photos, but they don't talk. At least not about anything of any real importance. But when Jaimie, who joined the army years ago much to their parents' consternation, comes to visit Cameron, all the the unnamed, unspoken tensions between brother and sister start to reveal the cracks and unsaid small faults in Cameron's relationship with Chase. The strain of so many small silences takes its toll on her, and she finds herself inexplicably drawn towards House.

fated_addiction's rich, dense prose creates a moody and atmospheric story. A wealth of everyday detail adds up to an inevitable, oppressive air where the simple act of washing one's hands takes on great significance. This is a great read for anyone inclined towards hints of House/Cameron and introspective character studies.

hihoplastic creates an amazing world, where disaster follows on disaster, a creepy and unresolvable crescendo of external madness. The internal plot, of House and Cuddy dealing with the world's chaos, weaves through the growing despair of the outside world, touching on it and affecting it, in turns. Finally, the slow and steady growth of House and Cuddy's relationship provides a grounding center to the story, moments of calm and love amidst the storm. Your Hand In Mine pulls out all the stops, and seems headed for certain despair, but

hihoplastic keeps a last hope alive, even when it seems that the world must end.

The new team and the old are wonderfully characterized, each becoming an individual in their own point of view section. The story is centered around a strong medical plot, with well-researched details and interesting original characters who keep the mystery alive, with a very Housian twist at the end.

namaste takes the opportunity to dive in to how each member of House's team feels about the changes in their lives. And through all their lives, there is House: creating new Feng Shui in the office, chasing down a diagnosis, and in the end, opening up only to Wilson. Time Marches On is a strong ensemble story, and
