THE HOUSE BIG BANG CHALLENGE IS LIVE!
Friends, readers, participants, lend me your ears. The day you've all been waiting for has arrived.
The House Big Bang Challenge Archive
...is live!
The challenge began in September 2007, with more than sixty authors each vowing to write a minimum 20 000 word novella over the next five months. Over twenty artists signed up to create illustrations, manipulations, drawings, or vids for each story. The novellas in this archive are representative of the variety of ships and genres in the fandom, and range in subject from canon to crossovers to crack. There is certain to be a story for every taste, and we hope that you will reward the hardworking and talented authors and artists with your generous feedback.
A huge thank you to everyone: writers, artists, cheerleaders, betas, participants of all stripes, and of course, to all of you who have waited so patiently for this moment. We couldn't have done it without you.
For your reading and viewing pleasure, I present the thirteen stories and the thirty artworks of the House Big Bang Challenge!
Your mods (exhausted but elated),

"Is that you?" She asked, her voice thick from disuse and far too long a sleep.
You changed what I had House ask-- I had him say "Am I who?" and I'd rather it stay that way."Who am I?" House asked
Maybe next year you can show the writers the coding beforehand, so that we can smooth out these details before the fic goes live? There are little changes throughout that might not mean much to anyone else, but some of those things I decided specifically as a writer and, again, I'd rather have been asked first.

This being the first time I've done anything like this, I'm still finding my way. Some of these issues are things I want to address in my poll. I think the line-edits were worthwhile, and I agree with you about showing the authors first, I'm just trying to figure out how to show everyone the coding without showing the whole site right away. So these are things to take into consideration for next time.
