Reminder Post
Hi, everybody!
Today marks the conclusion of the writers' portion of the challenge. Final drafts are due today before 11:59 PM Mountain Standard Time. If your final draft hasn't been sent to [email protected] by that time, then your complete draft will be the text placed in the archive.
There is some mild flexibility in that deadline, however. A mod will be reading each final draft over for typos, missing words, grammar mistakes, and inconsistencies. The mods will then email the author with any proposed changes or questions they have. Once the changes have been confirmed by the author, the final draft will be uploaded to the archive. This process takes approximately two or three hours per story. If an author hasn't handed in a final draft, and the mods are still line-editing the previous submissions, then that author's story won't be considered late. However, if it is past the deadline, all stories have been line-edited, and one author's final draft is still outstanding, then that author's story will be considered late.
Artists, meanwhile, your portion of the challenge continues! You have ten days left before your submissions are due. Again, earlier submissions are always helpful, if you can manage it. If you have any questions, comments, queries, or sudden attacks of nerves, then please don't hesitate to contact the [email protected].
Our list of Participants Who Have Completed The Challenge has grown! Please raise a cheer for the following people, who have now joined the ranks of People Who Can Boast That They Finished.

Personally, I would also like to say that the final drafts that have been handed in so far have been outstanding. The stories are all wildly different and wonderful in unique ways. The day the archive opens (and we intend and hope to open it as early as possible, with the goal of 12:00 AM Pacific Time) will be a great day to glut on the stories: and isn't that what Sundays are for? To sit back, relax, and enjoy a few novellas!
The countdown is on for the final fifteen days of the challenge. Good luck, and thank you, participants!
